Fresh Apple Cake
Fresh Apple Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 c. apples, sliced (fresh), 2 eggs, beaten, 3 c. flour, sifted (cake flour), 2 c. sugar and 1 tsp. nutmeg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Mix apples, pecans and sugar.
Let stand 1 hour. Add flour, nutmeg, cinnamon, salt and soda. Mix well and add to apple mixture. Stir vegetable oil, vanilla and beaten eggs.
Stir in drained cherries.
Bake in preheated oven at 350Β° for 1 1/2 hours or until done.
