Fresh Apple Cake
Fresh Apple Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/3 c. apples (johnston are best), cored and chopped coarsely, 2 c. sugar, 1 c. oil, 2 eggs and 3 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Chop enough apples to make 2 1/3 cups.
Pour sugar over apples; let stand 10 minutes.
Add oil and eggs to apple mixture. Sift remaining ingredients together.
Add dry mixture to apple mixture.
Then fold in 1 cup raisins and 1 cup chopped nuts.
Bake 1 hour at 350Β°.
Use a 13 x 8 x 2-inch baking pan.
