Fresh Apple Cake
Fresh Apple Cake is an impressive dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 1/2 tsp. lemon juice, 2 eggs, 3 c. flour and 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Heat oven to 350Β°.
Combine sugar, oil, lemon, vanilla, eggs and salt.
Beat well.
Add flour, baking soda, cinnamon, pecans and apples.
Mix lightly.
Pour into a greased and floured 12-cup fluted tube pan.
Bake for 1 1/2 hours.
Combine powdered sugar and milk, adding more milk until glaze is of proper consistency. Drizzle over cooled cake; sprinkle with nuts.
Store in a covered container.
Makes 12 servings.
