French Toast Casserole
French Toast Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/4 c. butter or margarine, 1 c. light brown sugar, 1 tsp. cinnamon, 12 slices firm white bread and 6 eggs, well beaten, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Melt butter in 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
(Be sure the butter coats the bottom corners of baking dish.)
Stir in brown sugar and cinnamon.
Place bread slices in double layer (one slice directly on top of each other) over sugar mixture.
Beat eggs and milk together.
Pour over bread slices.
Cover and let stand overnight in fridge.
