French Toast
French Toast is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. light brown sugar, 2 tbsp. white karo syrup, 1 stick butter or margarine, sliced french bread and 5 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Melt butter or margarine in 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
Add sugar and syrup.
Place sliced French bread in dish.
Beat eggs, milk and vanilla together; pour over sliced bread, covering bread well.
Cover with Saran or other wrap; place in refrigerator overnight.
Bake in a 400Β° oven for 30 to 45 minutes.
To serve, lift out of baking dish and turn over so syrup will be on top side.
