French-Style Fudge is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 can evaporated milk, 2 1/4 c. sugar, 1/2 c. butter, 2 tbsp. vanilla and 1 1/2 c. chopped walnuts, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

In large glass bowl, thoroughly combine milk and sugar. Microwave on High 7 to 8 minutes, stirring after 4 minutes.
Add butter, vanilla, walnuts and chips to hot mixture.
Stir until completely blended.
Pour into buttered 3-quart dish.
Refrigerate until firm.
Makes 2 pounds.
