French Onion Soup
French Onion Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 small white onions, 1 tbsp. olive oil, 3 tbsp. margarine, 3 c. hot water and 3 tsp. browning sauce (i use knorr beef broth concentrate), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Spray the bottom of Dutch oven with Pam.
Saute the onions in olive oil and margarine.
Stir frequently for 10 to 15 minutes. Next, add 3 cups hot water, browning sauce, beef bouillon, parsley, sugar, dried mustard and marjoram.
Cook 1 hour.
Serve over hard toasted French bread and Swiss cheese.
