Slice large, peeled onions about 1/2 inch thick.
Separate into rings.
Soak rings about 15 minutes or longer in milk; drain slightly.
Beat egg and 1/2 cup fresh milk.

Gently shake and remove surplus crumbs.
Fry until golden brown in 365Β° oil, approximately 3 minutes.
Drain on paper towels.
