French Chocolate Pie
French Chocolate Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter, 2 sq. baker's unsweetened chocolate, 2 c. cool whip, thawed, 3/4 c. sugar and 2 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
In saucepan, melt chocolate on low heat.
In a bowl, cream together sugar and butter.
Add cooled chocolate. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating mixture on high speed for 5 minutes after each addition.
Fold in thawed Cool Whip.
Pour into pie shell. Top with Cool Whip and slivered or shaved chocolate pieces.
