French Chocolate is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces, 1/2 c. light corn syrup, 1/3 c. water, 1 tsp. vanilla and 1 pt. whipping cream or 12 oz. cool whip, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Blend chocolate pieces with syrup and water over low heat until chocolate is melted.
Add vanilla; pour into jar. Refrigerate until cool.
Beat cream at medium speed, adding chocolate gradually.
Refrigerate.
Scald milk.
Fill serving cups 1/2 full of chocolate mixture.
Fill with hot milk; blend.
