French Cabbage Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 medium size head cabbage, 1 to 2 bell peppers, 3/4 c. celery, chopped, 3 to 4 cloves garlic and 1 c. sweet cream, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Quarter cabbage and cook in small amount of water until tender, then pour off any water left on it.

Chop fine.

Saute celery, bell peppers (chopped) and garlic in to 2 tablespoons butter or oil, slowly, until tender (about 30 minutes). Add this to finely chopped cabbage, pour in cream and grated cheese.

Mix well and into buttered casserole. Sprinkle grated bread crumbs on top.

Bake at for 25 to 30 minutes.

Serves 6 to 8.
