Freezer Slaw
Freezer Slaw is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 small or 1 large cabbage, grated, 1 carrot, grated, 1 bell pepper, grated, 1 tsp. salt and 1 c. white vinegar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Mix grated cabbage and salt.
Let stand 1 hour.
Squeeze off liquid into saucepan.
Add carrots and bell pepper to liquid.
Mix in vinegar, water, celery seed and sugar.
Boil 1 minute while stirring.
Remove from heat.
Add mustard seed and turmeric.
Cool to room temperature.
Pour over cabbage.
Stir until well mixed. Freeze into meal size containers.
After 24 hours of freezing, thaw in refrigerator.
Serve.
