Mix all ingredients and let stand 2 hours Stir once in a while. Drain and rinse.
Add 1 1/2 cups sugar, stir to dissolve; add 1 1/2 cups vinegar, mix and put in freezer cartons or jars and put in freezer.
Let stand 1 week before using.
