Freezer Fruit Sherbet
Freezer Fruit Sherbet is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 medium size bananas, 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple (undrained), 1/4 c. lemon juice, 1 c. milk and 1 (16 oz.) bottle maraschino cherries (undrained), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Combine bananas, pineapple and cherries in container of an electric blender; blend until smooth.
Pour mixture into large mixing bowl.
Combine remaining ingredients in container of electric blender.
Blend until smooth; add to blended fruit.
Mix all ingredients well, cover and freeze until firm.
Yields about 2 quarts.
