Foolproof Oven Stew
Foolproof Oven Stew is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. arm roast, cut in cubes, 1 onion, chopped, 2 celery stalks, chopped, 4 carrots, quartered and 5 potatoes, cubed, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Grease bottom and sides of 3-quart casserole.
Arrange layers of roast, onion, celery, carrots and potatoes in casserole. Combine salt, sugar, tapioca, tomato juice and Kitchen Bouquet in a bowl; mix well.
Pour over top, do not stir.
Bake at 250Β° for 3 1/2 hours.
Remove from oven.
Add peas and bake for 30 minutes longer.
Remove from oven and mix well.
Cover casserole with foil before baking.
