Fondant Frosting
Fondant Frosting is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 tbsp. melted butter or margarine, 2 tbsp. milk, water, fruit juice or coffee, 1 1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar, 1/4 tsp. salt and 1/2 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Combine ingredients and blend well.
Dip cooled baked cookies into frosting.
Set on rack or waxed paper until frosting sets. While still soft, frosting may be sprinkled with coconut, colored sugar, crushed peppermint or chopped nuts.
Good on brownies, butter cookies, nut cookies, molasses cookies, etc.
Makes frosting for 3 dozen.
