Cream together until fluffy.
Gradually add 3/4 cup hot milk while beating with electric mixer until smooth and stands in peaks.
Use 3 tablespoons cherry juice for cherry frosting or 1 tablespoon maple flavoring for maple frosting.
Maple is good on a butter pecan cake mix.
