Fluffy Frosting
Fluffy Frosting is an easy dinner. Made with 2 egg whites, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 1 1/2 tsp. light corn syrup, 1/8 tsp. salt and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Combine ingredients except vanilla in top of double boiler. Add 1/3 cup cold water.
Beat well, then cook over rapidly boiling water, beating constantly, until mixture holds peaks when beater is raised, about 7 minutes.
Remove from heat; add vanilla and beat until spreading consistency, about 2 minutes.
Spread on cake.
Good on all cakes and jelly rolls.
