Florida White Fruit Cake

Cream the butter and sugar. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating after each.
Add the vanilla and lemon extract.
Sift together the flour and baking powder. Combine the cherries, pineapple and pecans. Put flour mixture over this.
Mix and place in cold oven.
Turn oven to 250Β° and bake for 2 1/2 hours.
