Flaky Pie Crust
Flaky Pie Crust is an easy dinner. Made with 1 1/3 c. flour (all-purpose), 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/3 c. oil and 2 tbsp. cold water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
In a medium bowl, sift together flour and salt.
Dribble oil over flour.
Mix with flour until oil and flour are mixed.
Dribble water over this mixture.
Stir to form smooth ball.
Dampen work surface.
Put large wax paper down.
Put dough on this.
Cover with another piece of wax paper.
Roll out.
Remove wax paper.
Shape in pie plate.
Prick holes in shell for cream pies.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes in a 425Β° oven.
