Flaky Biscuits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. flour (unbleached), 4 tsp. baking powder, 3 tbsp. sugar, 1/2 tsp. salt and 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Mix dry ingredients in large mixing bowl. Add oil and milk all at once to dry mixture.
Mix only until blended.
Do not overmix. Form into a ball. Pat out on lightly floured surface to 3/4-inch thickness. Cut into biscuits with cutter.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 475Β° for 10 minutes or golden brown.
Yields 10 biscuits.
