Filled Ham Schnitzel
Filled Ham Schnitzel is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (6 oz.) can chopped mushrooms, drained and finely chopped, 3 tbsp. butter, 2 tbsp. snipped parsley, 1 tbsp. all-purpose flour and 6 slices boiled ham (fairly thin), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Brown mushrooms in butter with parsley.
Add 1 tablespoon flour; cook and stir for 2 minutes.
Spread mixture on 1/2 of each slice of ham.
Fold other half over; press to secure.
Dip schnitzel in eggs, then in 1/2 cup flour.
Put back into egg and then into crumbs.
Brown on both sides in hot shortening.
