Filled Cookies is an impressive dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter, 1 egg, 3 tsp. baking powder, 3 c. plain flour with little salt and 1 c. seeded raisins, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Soak all ingredients awhile with pinch of salt.
Let come to a boil and cool.
Roll dough about 1/4 inch thick.
Cut cookies. Put teaspoon of filling on one cookie, put another cookie on top pressing edges well.
Cut a little hole in top to allow steam to escape.
Bake in 350Β° oven until a nice brown.
Do not overbake.
