Fig Turnovers
Fig Turnovers is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sugar, 3 tbsp. flour, 1/2 c. water and fig juice, 2 tbsp. grated lemon rind and 1/3 c. lemon juice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Combine first 6 ingredients and cook slowly until thick.
Cool. Roll biscuits as thin as possible.
Place a tablespoon of mixture on half of the biscuit.
Moisten edges and fold other half over the filling.
Pinch edges together; prick top.
Place in hot oven at 450Β°.
Brown as you would biscuits.
