Field Mouse Casserole
Field Mouse Casserole is an moderately easy dinner you can prepare in about 1 hour 16 minutes. Made with fat field mice, c. macaroni, medium onion, thinly sliced, c. tomato and c. grated american cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Boil macaroni 10 minutes.
While it is being cooled, fry mice long enough to get the fat out.
Drain macaroni.
Grease casserole with the fat from the field mice.
Layer the mice, macaroni, onions and tomatoes.
Repeat layers until all are used.
Sprinkle with cracker crumbs and grated cheese.
Bake at 325Β° for 30 minutes or until mice are well done.
