Favorite Pound Cake
Favorite Pound Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter (no substitutes), 1/2 c. vegetable shortening, 3 c. sugar, 6 eggs and 3 c. all-purpose flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Grease and flour 10-inch tube or Bundt pan.
Butter and shortening.
Gradually add sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Combine flour and baking powder.
Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk and extracts.
Beat well after each addition.
Prepared pan and bake 1 1/2 hours or until cake tests done.
Cool in pan 5 minutes before removing to rack to cool completely.
Freezes well.
Yields 16 servings.
