Favorite Pie Crust is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. flour, 1 tsp. salt, 1 c. shortening, 3 tbsp. lemon juice and 1 tbsp. cold water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Sift flour and salt together.
Cut in shortening just until evenly crumbly.
Add lemon juice, water and well beaten egg and mix lightly.
Roll out quickly and bake in a hot oven at 450Β°. Makes 2 double crust pies.
May be stored in waxed paper and in the refrigerator for a week or two.
