Favorite Pecan Pie
Favorite Pecan Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. pecan halves, 1 (9-inch) pastry shell, unbaked, 3 eggs, 1/2 c. sugar and 1 c. syrup (yellow label), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Place pecan halves in a pattern in bottom of unbaked pastry shell.
Beat eggs slightly.
Mix in syrup, sugar, margarine, vanilla and salt.
Gently pour into unbaked shell.
Bake at 400° for 15 minutes.
Lower temperature to 350° and cook an additional 30 minutes.
(Filling should be slightly less set in center than around edges.)
