Favorite Meat Loaf
Favorite Meat Loaf is an easy dinner. Made with 1 envelope lipton onion soup mix, 2 lb. ground beef, 1 1/2 c. crushed bran or corn flakes, 2 eggs and 1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce or purée, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Preheat oven to 350°.
Combine all ingredients except for 1/2 cup of tomato sauce or purée.
In a 13 x 9-inch baking pan, shape into a loaf.
Pour the 1/2 cup of tomato sauce or purée over top of loaf until covered.
Bake, uncovered, 1 hour or until done. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
Serve with horseradish. Yields 8 servings.
