Favorite Brownies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter, 2 oz. unsweetened chocolate, 2 c. sugar, 3 large eggs, slightly beaten and 1 1/2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Melt butter and chocolate squares over low heat in a large saucepan.
Remove from heat.
Add sugar and slightly beaten eggs. Mix thoroughly.
Add flour and baking powder.
Stir into chocolate mixture.
Add vanilla and chopped nuts.
Pour into 9 X 13 pan, greased and floured on bottom only.
Bake at 350Β° for 35 minutes.
