Combine sugar and syrup in saucepan or electric skillet. Cover and bring to a boil.
Remove from heat (or turn off electric skillet).
Stir in peanut butter.
Add cornflakes and stir until all are coated with syrup mixture.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto wax paper.
