Farmer's Fritters
Farmer'S Fritters is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. chopped apples, 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour, 2 tsp. baking powder, 2 tbsp. sugar and cooking oil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
In mixing bowl, stir together the flour, corn meal, baking powder and salt.
Add apples, milk, sugar and beaten egg.
Stir just until moistened.
Drop batter by tablespoons, four or five at a time, into hot cooking oil (375Β°).
Cook for 3 to 4 minutes, or until golden brown, turning once.
Drain on paper towels.
Roll hot fritters in mixture of sugar and ground cinnamon.
