Made with 3 lb. lean hamburger, 1 large or 2 small onions, 2 cans tomato purée (10 1/4 oz.), 2 cans pizza sauce (10 oz.) and 1 1/2 c. sliced, chopped pepperoni, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
👨🍳 Instructions
In large pan, cook hamburger and onion over medium heat, slowly, until hamburger is no longer red.
Stir occasionally.
Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 30 to 40 minutes longer, stirring occasionally.
Serve over spaghetti.
This is a rich, thick spaghetti sauce and leftover sauce is excellent served on hamburger buns for an unusual type Sloppy Joe sandwich.
Freezes well.
