Cream butter with both sugars.
Combine eggs and vanilla. Mix well.
Add flour, oatmeal, salt, soda, and baking powder.
Mix well.
Grated chocolate, chocolate chips and nuts.
Mix well. Roll dough into balls and place 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375 degrees for 6 - 7 minutes, until light brown.
Cool for 2 - 3 minutes and remove to rack to cool completely.
Yields approximately 10 dozen cookies.
