Extra Special Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 large box cherry jell-o, 1 (no. 2) can crushed pineapple, 1/2 c. chopped pecans, 1 pkg. dream whip and 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Prepare Jell-O as stated on box.
When almost jelled, add pineapple and nuts.
Let set until congealed.
Combine cream cheese and Dream Whip; spread over Jell-O.
Cook remaining ingredients until slightly thickened.
Spread over cream cheese mixture.
Sprinkle with a few nuts.
