Extra Peanut Butter Cookies
Extra Peanut Butter Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour, 1/2 c. granulated sugar, 1/2 tsp. soda, 1/4 tsp. salt and 1/2 c. shortening, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Sift together dry ingredients.
Cut in shortening and peanut butter until mixture resembles coarse meal.
Blend in syrup and milk.
Shape in 2-inch roll; chill.
Slice about 1/4-inch thick. Place half the slices on ungreased cookie sheet.
Spread each with 1/2 teaspoon peanut butter and seal edges with a fork.
Bake at 350Β° for about 12 minutes.
Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet.
Makes 2 dozen.
