English Trifle is an easy dinner. Made with 1 angel food cake, 3 1/2 oz. pkg. instant vanilla pudding, 1 1/2 c. milk, prepared fruit pie filling and 1/3 c. sliced almonds, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Trim brown crust from cake and tear into bite size pieces. Beat milk with pudding until smooth and thickened.
Layer in 3-quart glass bowl 1/2 cake, 1/2 fruit and 1/2 vanilla pudding. Repeat layers.
Sprinkle almonds on top.
Refrigerate until chilled.
Makes 12 servings.
