English Toffee Dessert is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. sugar, 1/2 c. whipping cream, 1/4 c. light corn syrup, 2 tbsp. margarine and 2 (1 1/8 oz.) crushed english toffee candy bars, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Combine first four ingredients in a small saucepan.
Cook over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil.
Boil 1 minute, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat.
Add candy and stir well.
Cool (sauce thickens as it cools).
Place strawberries in serving dishes.
Dollop each with 2 tablespoons of sour cream.
Top with 2 to 3 teaspoons of sauce.
