English Toffee is an easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sugar, 1 c. butter (not margarine), 1 tsp. vanilla, 4 - 6 hershey chocolate bars (full size) and 1 c. chopped nuts (favorite), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Boil sugar and butter to 310Β° or hard crack stage in water. Cool slightly then add vanilla.
Pour on aluminum foil immediately and put chocolate bars on top to melt.
Sprinkle with nuts, smooth over top.
When cold, crack into piece.
