English Toffee
English Toffee is an easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. butter, 2 c. sugar, 1 large hershey bar and 2 c. walnuts, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
Put 1 cup nuts on jelly roll pan.
In saucepan (use a heavy bottom pan to cook in).
Boil butter and sugar until the snap stage on candy thermometer, stirring constantly.
Pour over nuts.
Cool in refrigerator until hard.
Melt chocolate in double boiler. Spread over toffee.
Put rest of nuts on top of chocolate while still hot.
Break apart.
