English Toffee is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sugar, 1 c. butter, 3 small plain hershey bars, 1 tsp. vanilla and 3/4 c. chopped nuts, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Place all ingredients except Hershey bars and nuts in a saucepan and cook until brown, about 10 minutes, stirring constantly to prevent burning.
Pour into buttered fudge pan.
Lay Hershey bars across top of hot mass and spread.
Sprinkle with nuts.
Cool and then break into pieces.
