English Toffee is an easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sugar, 1/4 lb. oleo, 1/4 lb. butter, 3 tbsp. water and 1 c. chopped pecans, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Put all ingredients together in heavy pan; stir all during cooking.
Cook over high heat until mixture turns light brown. After it comes to full boil, cook about 5 or 6 minutes.
Pour at once on tin foil.
Cool and break into pieces.
