English Apple Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/4 lb. butter, softened, 1/2 c. brown sugar, 1 c. flour, 1/2 tsp. salt and 3 tbsp. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Grease 9-inch pie plate with butter, then slice apples and layer in bottom of pie plate.
Mix cinnamon and sugar together and sprinkle over apples.
Stir together butter, brown sugar, flour, salt, water and chopped pecans.
Mixture will be gooey.
Spread over apples with knife dipped in water.
Bake at 350Β° for 1 hour.
