Empty Cake
Empty Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 eggs, 1 1/4 c. flour, 1 c. sugar, 12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate and 1 stick butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Separate eggs.
Beat whites until fluffy.
Beat in sugar.
Beat in yolks.
By hand slowly add flour.
Bake in 9-inch spring-form pan (greased) at 350Β° for 1/2 hour or until done.
When cake is cool, cut top off and pull out middle of cake.
Melt butter and chocolate chips.
Add Amaretto and nuts.
Mix in cake middle.
When mixed, put back in cake; add top and frost with whipped cream.
