Empanadas
Empanadas is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. flour, 1 tsp. baking powder, 1 tsp. salt, 1 c. sugar and 1/2 c. shortening or oil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Boil the water with the cinnamon stick until water is brown.
Mix dry ingredients first.
Add shortening; mix well.
Add water; make a dough.
Separate dough into balls. With rolling pin, make a circle of dough not too big.
Add a tablespoon of pumpkin mix on half of the circle; fold in half to make a half moon.
Seal with a fork.
