Emily's Fruit Compote
Emily'S Fruit Compote is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sliced pears, peeled if desired, 1 c. sliced peaches, peeled, 1 c. cherries (pitted or whole), 1 c. pineapple chunks and 1/4 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Combine fruit and water in a 1 1/2 to 2-quart casserole. Cover; microwave at High for 5 1/2 to 8 1/2 minutes, until fruit is almost tender.
Stir after 4 minutes.
Stir in sugar.
Re-cover fruit; let stand 2 minutes.
Compotes may be served warm or cold. Makes approximately 1 quart.
