Elizabeth's French Bread
Elizabeth'S French Bread is an easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. warm water, 1 tbsp. sugar, 1 tsp. salt, 2 pkg. yeast and 4 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Preheat oven to 450Β°.
Combine water, salt, sugar and yeast and stir to combine ingredients.
Cover 5 or 10 minutes.
Mix in flour with spoon.
Put dough on well-floured surface.
Shape in oval, cut in half, stretch and twist.
Put on greased cookie sheet.
Cover with dish towel and let sit in warm place for 20 minutes.
Make 1/2-inch slashes across top.
Spray salted water on top.
Bake for 20 minutes.
