Elephant Ears
Elephant Ears is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. milk, 2 tbsp. sugar, 1 tsp. salt, 6 tbsp. shortening and 2 pkg. dry yeast, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Mix milk, sugar, salt and shortening.
Heat until shortening melts.
But don't boil.
Cool to lukewarm.
Add yeast and stir until dissolved.
Stir in flour 2 cups at a time, beating until smooth.
Put dough into a greased bowl.
Cover with a damp cloth and let rise until double in size of golf balls.
