El Dorado Surprise is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. ground beef, 1 lb. jack cheese, 1 medium bag corn chips, 1 small can tomato sauce and 1 medium container sour cream, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Crumble beef and cook with onion, garlic and green pepper; drain fat.
Add olives, tomato sauce and taco seasoning.
Cook 5 to 8 minutes over medium heat.
In separate bowl, combine sour cream, cottage cheese and green chilies.
Shred cheese.
Crush all but 1 cup chips.
In 9 x 13-inch pan, layer beef, sour cream mixture, chips and cheese.
Repeat layering; cover and bake at 450° for 15 minutes.
Drop temperature to 325°, uncover and bake 30 minutes. Garnish with remaining chips.
