Eight Layer Salad
Eight Layer Salad is an impressive salad you can prepare in about 1 hour 2 minutes. Made with lettuce, c. frozen peas, cooked, . fresh spinach, medium onion, sliced in rings and c. celery, thinly sliced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Mix the first seven ingredients in layers.
Spread salad dressing on top 3/4 inch thick.
Sprinkle with sugar, salt and white pepper to taste.
Cover with grated Cheddar cheese 3/4 inch thick and top with crisp fried bacon (chopped).
Refrigerate 1 to 2 hours before serving.
